Meet Mrs. Pamela McNair Sikes
Co-Owner of S&K Mortuary – Keeping Memories Alive
Hello, my name is Mrs. Pamela McNair Sikes, and I am honored to serve as one of the owners of S&K Mortuary. I was proudly born and raised in a small town called Shiloh, Alabama, nestled between Elba and New Brockton. I am a Christian woman who knows firsthand that God has truly been good to me.
I graduated from New Brockton High School and, in 2014, met and married the love of my life, the late Mr. Sylvester Sikes Sr. of Samson, AL. I was blessed to be his loving and devoted wife until his passing in 2024. Together, we created a beautiful blended family. I have two biological children, Horace Montevon McNair and Monique Nicole McNair, and gained four more amazing children through our union.
Outside of the funeral profession, I am proud to be a part of the Gospel Quartet field, where I am known as the Lady of Inspiration — a title I carry with love and purpose.
In 2018, I followed my passion for helping families in their time of need and made the life-changing decision to enter the funeral service industry. I purchased a funeral home and named it Pearly Gates Funeral Home. In 2025, I partnered with a trusted colleague to form S&K Mortuary, where our mission is to serve families with professionalism, dignity, and love.
I am associated with the Alabama Funeral Directors and Morticians Association, the National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association, and the 100 Black Women of Funeral Services.
At S&K Mortuary, we are here to serve the Wiregrass and surrounding areas, committed to keeping memories alive with care, compassion, and a heart for people.

My name is Precious Freeman, and I’m proud to be born and raised in Dothan, Alabama. I’ve been honored to serve in the funeral industry for over 16 years, working with several respected funeral homes throughout the Dothan area.
In April 2025, I was blessed with the opportunity to join S&K Mortuary as the Office Manager. It’s truly an honor to work alongside such a compassionate and dedicated team, and to serve under leadership that genuinely cares about people.
People often ask me, “What do you like to do?” or “What’s your favorite hobby?” My answer is simple: Helping people. Each day, my goal is to ease the burden of others, and in this line of work, that means helping families find peace during one of the most difficult times in their lives.
