Terica Cha'rae Austin was born on October 12, 1981, to Johnny Ray Austin and Carolyn Pearce Austin. As the oldest child, she carried a quiet strength and deep faith, accepting the Lord at an early age and leaning on the power of prayer throughout her life.

A proud 2000 graduate of Dothan High School, Terica went on to earn her bachelor's degree in psychology from Troy University, a remarkable achievement in the face of ongoing health challenges. She was truly a warrior—resilient, determined, and full of grace. Terica also worked in sales at WTVY Channel 4.

She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Taylor Bradley, and a loving sister to her brother, Jason Austin. Terica was the granddaughter of Rastus and Essie Pearce, Sr. and Thomas and Louise Austin. Her bond with her aunt, Tracy Austin, was especially close filled with love, laughter, and support.

Known for her radiant smile and gentle spirit, Terica brought light and joy to everyone she met. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering love will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Ray Austin; her grandparents, Rastus Sr. and Essie Pearce; and her grandmother, Louise "G" Austin.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter, Taylor Bradley; her mother, Carolyn Pearce Austin; her brother, Jason Austin; nieces, Amelia and Julia; nephews, Jerren and Janhari; grandfather, Thomas Austin; aunts, Tracy Austin, Carol Ann Pearce, and Essie Pearce; uncle, Rastus Pearce, Jr.; numerous cousins; and her special friend, Alonzo Smith.

Terica's life was a beautiful testimony of love, perseverance, and faith. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
