IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brenda
Beckham
September 10, 1956 – February 21, 2026
Brenda Buis Beckham, 69, of Ozark, AL, passed peacefully surrounded by love after a courageous battle with colon cancer. Though her body grew tired, her spirit never did.
Born on 9/10/1956 in Green Castle, Indiana she was a woman of quiet strength, deep faith, and unwavering love for her family. She lived a life defined not by ease, but by resilience. She carried burdens without complaint and gave more than she ever asked in return.
She was first and always a mother. Her children were her greatest pride and purpose. She loved fiercely, protected instinctively, and sacrificed willingly. Even in her hardest days, she made sure the people she loved felt safe and cared for. Her love did not come in grand gestures—it lived in late-night talks, home-cooked meals, steady encouragement, and the kind of hugs that made everything feel okay.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Allen Buis, and her brother, Roger Allen Buis.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Carrol Buis; her son, Roger Dale Beckham and his wife Parker; her daughter, Aimee Faith Simonton and her husband Chad; and her cherished grandchildren, Grant Whitman, Hagen Beckham, Noah Moore, Cameron Sullivan, Sawyer Sullivan, and Trevor Head. She also leaves behind extended family and friends who will forever hold her memory close.
Brenda faced her final days with courage and grace, surrounded by those who loved her most. Her strength and the love she poured into her family will remain her lasting legacy.
In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated and no public services will be held. The family will honor and remember her privately.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
The entire staff of S&K Mortuary, we extend our deepest gratitude to the Beckham Family. We pray that you find strength, peace, and comfort in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, during this time of sorrow.
